Ford engine mount needed

I am the process of mounting a Ford 302 into the GD chassis.
During this process I have trouble to find the right engine mount.
Has anyone a picture or an article number of an engine mount for the Ford 302 or 351 engine.

Two types you can see on Repowers site. Roadcraft Repower suppliers of American engine parts from Edelbrock for Ford and Chevrolet V8 engines and Tremec transmissions
Main difference between the two is the position of the bolt that secures the mount to the chassis. Ref 03 is further outboard than ref 04.

There are also types, for the F150 etc pickups, for example, that have a single downward pointing stud for the fix to the chassis.

Nice thought Martyn though Im afraid Im yet to get to that stage (engines still on the stand!) My best advice, and what I will do, is to phone Andy B and ask him as Im sure he will know.

Koos, if you find out can you post up so I dont have to ask!!

Cheers

Hello Wilf,

Thanks for your advice, one of these mounts should fit, but which do I need?
Because Andy said that I could order them by Repower I sent A few weeks ago a mail to repower and asked for them. I did never receive an answere.

I have also spoke to my Dutch GD dealer. He will contact Andy. We were als looking at Summit racing.

When I know what mount it is I will post it.

greetings

Sorry Koos, I don't know which one you would need for a GD. There is a member here who has a Cleveland in his GD (idtopham) who may know the answer.
I have had a look on Summit, and the Lakewood mount is the same as a Repower refernece 03 item. Hope that helps?

Repower are now shut until Jan 2nd - best thing is to telephone them in the New Year.

These are the only pics I can find that show the mounts and the chassis mounts. If your block has similar casting for the bolts these are standard Ford Mustang mounts all be it heavy duty type. HTH
