Mk III versus Mk IV GD?

I didn't realize there are two series of GD Cobra.

Does anyone know the cutoff from one to the other?

I have GD Euro chassis 51 from about 5 years ago if that helps.

Thanks,
Paul

I don't believe there was a cut-off. Both body styles are still available SFAIK and I think the Mk IV became available about a year ago.

And the chassis is the same so if you want to get the MK IV body for your chassis it will fit.

The 'MKIII GD' has always looked kind of halfway twixt 289 and 427 to me; sort of 358 Cobra I guess...

As GD used to say "it's not a Cobra replica, it's a sporstcar"

So why replicate a MK4 Cobra with the new body
