GD owners forum problems..

Does anyone else find that the GD owners forum, GD cars website and totalkit car websites spend more time off line than on?

All I keep getting is server not found messages, then without reason they will all start working. Its none or all at random times?

Anyone else find this?

Cheers

I suffered the same problem for a long time. I've dabbled with computers, websites, net works etc and spent a lot of time trying to work out why.

I read a post on the internet regarding DNS problems with ISP's which occasionally accounted for certain websites being down. i.e. the ISP's DNS severs dropped out or were not up to date.

I've manually entered DNS settings for a free dns service on my laptop i.e. not using my ISP's, and I've had no problems since.

For clarification, total kitcar and GD owners were frequently down, since making the changes I've never had a problem and I'm probably on the GD owners site several times a day.

If anyones interested I'll post my DNS settings.

Ryan

I look nearly daily to the GD owner website, I had never problems with the website
What I notice is that there is not much action.

The problem I have, together with a lot of other builders is to get access to the hidden forums. After plenty of mails & posts I stopped trying.

I haven't had a problem with accessing the GD site. I look a couple of times a day and it always comes up no problems. There isn't much going on so I post on here....
