| Can anyone with a Ford 302 in a GD, tell me if there is enough room to get a bar on the crank damper bolt with the engine in the chassis? Ive got the March ribbed front pulley if that makes any difference?!? Just need to know if I can leave my rockers loose for a bit longer or if I should bolt then down now before the engine goes in. (going to be a while till it fires up so it helps to keep the moisture out) Cheers

| Hello Andy, I have a 302 block but I can not understand exactly your question. What do you mean with: "get a bar on the crank damper bolt" My work process was: Fit the engine with the gearbox in the chassis Put the waterpump to it Ad the damper to it (no problem with tighting the cranck damper bolt with a wrench) I have an extended small diameter pulley and it fits just above the chassis. See the pictures on my website (sorry the lines are in Dutch) Project GD-427: Motor I hope this is the info you are looking for

| HI, Thats great, shows me the pulley is above the rail and plenty of room to spin the engine over by hand. Nice job by the way! Thanks
