Seats in a GD Mark 4

    Hi everybody

Has anyone tried putting non-standard GD seats in a MK4? I would like to put reclining seats in mine. Does anyone know if that is possible?

    Reclining???
I think that might be considered G**?
It's all about the width really is there enough forward / back travel to make it worth the effort?

How tall are you Bob? I'm not particularly tall but in my Dax at least the back of the seats were still pretty close to the rear edge of the cockpit. I would say if you are anywhere over 5'8" then you're not likely to get any noticeable recline on the seat anyway. Perhaps ask Andy at GD if anyone has ever done it....?

As for the boys.... I've found reasons to recline seats in my cars before..... clearly they are too old to remember what women can get up to in cars

if you are "normal sized", the rear of the seat will be within an inch of the bulkhead....so nowhere for it to recline.

if you are smaller, might be able to recline a little, but then, you might not see over the dash....
