It finally moves

Well I know I don't post very often but it's been a bit of a 'milestone ' day.

I drove the Cobra for the first time, ok still a way to go, but it adds a bit of enthusiasm. Only up and down the drive (50m or so) but all seems well (apart from brakes and clutch see silicon brake fluid thread).

Basically I got the wiring far enough to start so connected the prop, put on some old wheels and whoooo hooo

On the down side I managed th breal my screen in the garage stored against the wheels and fell over!! Bu-g-r still it wasn’t good for the SVA but would have been good for a few quid as second hand maybe.

Well done Chris, we'll being seeing it at a summer meet then.

When you finally insure the car for road use, check your windscreen cover / excess (and have a word with Andy Soar who may be able to come to some arrangement).

Re: It finally moves

Thanks for that

progress seems to be lumpy if you know what I mean but hopefully ready for the summer, not saying which summer though.
