Club membership
Hi All
Can someone please tell me when the last snake torque issue came out? Joined the club 7 weeks ago and so far haven't recieved anything (except e-mail confirming payment). Was hoping to have got the backdated issues by now to have a good read-up and find out if there are any meets near where i live. Also would like to go to Duxford (via staff entrance) but if i've got nothing to show i'm a member i can't get the discount. Cheers Ben.. |

Ben
MArion is currently waiting for Glen to deliver a load of back issues, which should be this weekend at Goodwood, so info should be in the post soon. Regarding DUxford, print off the email receipt and if they complain, ask then to Speak to either Graham Dorrell or Robert Stanley to clarify. 7.45am !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! On a Saturday.........
Do you ever have a lay-in??????? :P :P |

RE: Club membership
Lay-ins are a dim and distant dream in the past. With a 2 year ols and an 8 month old, I have no other option.
Sleeping in the garage is looking like a really good proposition at the moment. :P :P Robert Forum Admin http://www.cobraclub.com/flags/UK.gif

RE: Club membership
I joined the club during August, about 4 years ago. I received 2 magazines, was promised the back issues, which never materialised, then was sent a bill for the next years membership. Although the magazines were good they werent worth £12.50 each. I didnt rejoin untill this year, and it looks like the same things going to happen again.
Never mind, this site makes up for the lack of magazines. But it might put people off from rejoining, like it did me!

What you need to realise is the club is run by a bunch of volunteers, who also have full-time day jobs, so sometimes things don't work so well or get forgotten. If something does go wrong, a phone call normally clears up any problems. Also, 4 years ago there were 3 people running the comittee, however we now have more comittee members so it has eased the work load somewhat. Robert Forum Admin http://www.cobraclub.com/flags/UK.gif
