Goodwood Revival

Is anyone going to the Goodwood revival weekend, we were wondering which is the best day to see the cobra's, or is it worth being there for the whole weekend.

Went last year with Dogger .a great time had and you must dress up its all part of it 90% do so you will get more look if you not. But try not to do as I did and put on a thick wool suit on the hottes day of the year. if you want to pick up a few Cobs on the way let us know pls.... SWEATY PAT..

The wife is already planning my wardrobe, so heaven knows what I will look like, we saw it on the tv last year and both of us felt we would like to go. Do you know of any decent hotels nearby.

There is a Travel Inn not far up the road at Arundel on the A27. We always stay in them if we stay over at shows. Always clean and next to a decent Pub Might be wise to book up soon wherever you stay :thumb:

Hi there!

Me and my beautiful assistant will be at the revival. I've booked tickets for all 3 days to cover weather glitches. Dressing up is part of the fun - you have to!! You don't have to dress 40's style - 50s and 60s is just as acceptable. I usualy wear a pair of plain mechanics overalls and a flat cap. If it's really hot you can go au-natural underneath (in my case NOT a pretty sight!).

We live about 40mins from the circuit so if anyones on a budget we have 2 spare bedrooms and a village pub.

I should say we don't OWN the pub - it's just close by!
