SBF Sumo value???

A friend of mine is selling his Pilgrim Sumo and would like an idea of how to price it 'to sell' rather than it be up for sale for ever.
It's a '93, fully rebuilt 2004 (600 miles since) with a 302ci Ford / 8" Pony rear / fresh paint etc, etc
Obviously he does not want to give it away, but he needs a fairly quick sale.
Any idea chaps?

Re: SBF Sumo value???

If it's nice and the colour scheme is popular then the car should get between £12-15K.
(When I say nice i mean in the eyes of the potential purchaser not the seller).

Re: SBF Sumo value???

Hi Rat.
The car looks nice on the pics. the colour is safe.
The dash looks a little "Wooden"
Engine bay looks very well done.
Exterior door handles can be a downer sometimes when selling.
Is the front nudge bar too high?
Is there a problem whith where the boot lid closes? It looks like the boot has too much curve.
The exhausts look a bit iffy where they go into the side pipes.

The above are just my opinion and maty not be someone elses opinion.
Summary:-
The car as a whole looks much nicer that I expected which would (In my opinion) push the value nearer to my top guess. But the few odd bits and pieces may bring the value down towards the lower price.

Is that motor running through a Cortina axle or a Granada one?

Will that do for ya' :thumb: :thumb:

Re: SBF Sumo value???

Rear end is an 8" Pony Mustang with new drums, cylinders and shoes....not sure if the diff is new.
I wasn't too sure about the door handles. Convenient I suppose.
