SVA Steering Wheel

Hello

I hope you all had a great weekend at Duxford. I was busy in the garage getting the car ready for my SVA which is in two weeks !!!

I have a question about steering wheels and SVA. I have a nice mota-lita steering wheel to put on the car but I don't think it is SVA compliant. Does anyone have any ideas where I can get an old sierra one for the test. I have tried numerous breakers and they all say that they do not keep steering wheels !! ( is there a reason for this ?)

Thanks in advance for any info/advice

Dave

RE: SVA Steering Wheel

Dave.
If you live in Milton Keynes you just drive around there are dozens of the b*ggers abandoned all over the place.

Seriously if you try www.onelist.com and look for the Tiger or Robin Hood build forums. There are dozens of builders who have used the Sierra column and kept the wheel for sva, you may find one near you who will pass one on.I know for a fact the Tiger Cat uses Sierra column and I think the Hood uses the same.

Good luck. Tony.
