East Midlands meet

Finally made it to one!

Nice to meet folks. A right friendly bunch too :thumb:

Hopefully will make it to some more!

The hour's drive back up the motorway was rather bracing. Timing was perfect, got home, car in garage, door shut, snow started

Re: East Midlands meet

Likewise mate, It was my first attendance at the East Mids meet yesterday, and I thoroughly enjoyed meeting everyone. Like you said, they're a very friendly and helpful bunch.

Being new to the Cobra Club myself I must say that seeing the cars at the meet yesterday, and Rob kindly taking me for a ride in his GD, just increased my desire to build one as soon as my finances will permit

So, i'm now counting down my days left at Uni so that I can earn some proper money and seriously start considering my build

Thanks to everyone who made me feel very welcome yesterday, and I look forward to seeing you all again.

Cheers

Kev

Ooppppppssssss

Well that was a good start. Apologies Richard. I met so many people, and heard so many names yesterday a mistake was inevitable!

Thanks Tony

Re: East Midlands meet

Yeah, Sorry for the mistake Richard.

Im sure you would like 600+ BHP under your bonnet, and from a RV8! That would be some engine

Thanks again for the ride :thumb:

How was my driving?

My Son had a toy steering wheel which he used to spin furiously, making loads of go-faster noises, leaning into all the tight corners, perhaps running the government feels a bit like that. You make all the noises, but when you stop you haven't really gone anywhere.
