| Computer help Can anyone please help with what is probably an easy fix. When looking at e-mail in Outlook Explorer, when a link to a web site is present I cannot get it to link through. If I hover over the link it is recognised as a hyperlink (remembered 1 thing from my computer course!) but clicking on it does nothing?? I suspect it is a case of checking or unchecking 1 of the advanced boxes in 'tools' but which? Don't know why it's stopped working but copy and pasting the link is so tiresome! Many thanks,

| Re: Computer help Couple of things to try: 1) isnt that hard and easy to do, try it shouldnt harm anything. Go to Start >> Run, type in: regsvr32 urlmon.dll [Enter] and ok the next window Then open Internet Explorer and go to Tools > Internet Options>> Programs and click on Reset Web Settings. (again) 2) If no one else comes up with any suggestions, its a techincal article and lots of long steps. last restort as i think its more a windows issue then an application. http://support.microsoft.com/kb/q177054/ no warrenty implied etc. Craig. |
