Latching Circuit Board

I have been working on a latching circuit board that will cater for up to 3 outputs. I have designed this because I wanted to use momentary push buttons instead of the ford rocker switches. Each output from the board will drive an automotive relay to supply a larger load. To give you an idea how it works see the following.

2 output latching circuit.

All outputs off
Press once and output one goes on
Press second time and output one and two are on.
Press third time and all outputs go off again.

This caters for a 2 speed fan control as in the dax kit.
If you had a three speed fan then this could also be controled by a small modification to the board. Also a single latch circuit could be created for fog light etc.
Now each board takes up to three hours to construct because of all the jumper wires and soldering. This makes building these boards and offering them for sale too expensive. If anybody wants the design and is willing to pay for a CD and postage then I will supply a materials list and construction guide. All components can be bought from Maplins or RS. If enough people are interested then I will see if I can strike a deal with a printed circuit board company to make the boards so that all I need to do is solder the components on. I estimate that this route will cost £25 to £35. So if you want the design or would like to be added to the list of people who would like the board manufactured, let me know.

Re: Latching Circuit Board

Lee, I too am building my own elctronic controllers which I have already mocked up using 4013 IC's. While looking for a suitable circuit I found a site selling PCB's to allow easier manufacture of the controllers at a much reduced size as well.

But guess what, can't find it now. Will keep looking and let you know if I find it again.
