My V5

My GD is listed on my V5 form as a Gardner Douglas Kit, 2 Axle Rigid Body Sports.

Who else has the proper name on the V5, coz it does make a difference when I sell it!!!!

Hi Robert,

My V5 also shows the correct name for my car - "Unique Autocraft Python" - I was fortunate in getting it changed from a Daimler 2 door sports just before SVA came in by having it inspected properly - also maanged to retain the age related plate instead of getting a Q

My V5 has my Sumo listed as a Ford Pilgrim Sumo, could the Ford be a problem?

Hi robert my V5 has the correct listing as AK Sportscars, 2 Axle-rigid body-Convertible. With the AK chassis number listed.

I have just got my V5 through today and it is registerd as

Make Legendary 427 Kit
Model 2 Axle rigid body
Date 010872
Class Historic Vehicle

It was a real pleasure to go to the Post Office and get 12 Months TAX for Nil as classified as Historic Vehicle

Mine says "Crendon". No mention of "kit" or any other manufacturer.

Mind you, the MOT certificate says "AC 427" !

You're selling it - you cant do that, it will be like parting from a beloved one surely. Ya going to build another or have you just done it all and pastures new etc.
