gone in under ten minutes

it is with great sadness i have to inform all members and friends that on tuesday 24 dax cobra 903 exy went up in flames a fantastic car will be missed,i can now only hope my insurance is as good as they say and can replace it as soon as possible. max.

OUCH!
Good luck with the insurance. It would be good if you could post your findings on on your insurers. (Do they pay the agreed value etc. if that's the type of policy you have).

only had the car for 7 months so hope will be payed out in full but who knows as a cause i have no idea at the moment but i feel with the amount of petrol floating around that may be the cause. max.

Sorry about the car Max.
You say you don't know the cause but there was "petrol floating around" - did you have a glass bodied filter fitted? There has been some question marks on previous posts over their suitability. Would be useful info for all to know more info and hopefully avoid a repeat for someone.

the car was fitted with a glass bowl filter king,hope this helps.already looking for a replacement, but will take months to find the right car by this time summer will be over, but this will give me all winter to clean and polish. max
