RE: Who is the fastest?

I would be interested in the figures also. Might give me something to aim for at Santa Pod.

Best Regards

My Son had a toy steering wheel which he used to spin furiously, making loads of go-faster noises, leaning into all the tight corners, perhaps running the government feels a bit like that. You make all the noises, but when you stop you haven't really gone anywhere.

RE: Who is the fastest?

There was a gd at Brighton with a 1/4 mile of 12.3
I have also been in a gd at Donnington on a demo with a 0-60 of 3.8ish secs
It was matching an 600bhp ultima for pace
The car was a GD euro with a tuned(not nitro) chevy (around 540bhp)and a carbon shell
It weighed in at 800kg (mmm v.light)

RE: Who is the fastest?

It will be GD against GD then. I think that might be BAM, I will have a chat to Andy about it and find out more.

Best Regards

Black rat racing is a Dax supertube, not a GD. The GD at Donnington was the Racer, with the Carbon Body and a wicked engine.

RE: Who is the fastest?

After having a very deep conversation regarding this topic this afternoon, we think it would be a good idea to put this to bed. We should have a head to head at Santa Pod for anyone who would care to try..........

With a slalom at the end of the straight, then we will see who comes out on top.

Oooooooh the GD loves them bends!!!!

Sorry, there is only an icon for a Big Smile, not a huge smile!!

RE: Who is the fastest?

Suggest you take a look at http://www.ukstreetracers.com/StreetMachine.htm

GRM has had an 11.496 for the 1/4 mile in his DAX & I'm sure he's beaten that since....

RE: Who is the fastest?

Thats Black Rat, he came along to my Trackday. I now have something to aim for, better get this 17 inch soft compounds on instead of the 16 inch standards.
