| Google Earth I came across Google Earth this morning and downloaded the application. http://earth.google.com/ IMHO, it is absolutely fantastic. The entire globe has been mapped in 3D from satellite images and you can zoom it to anywhere on earth. Some areas are more detailed than others, but in the better areas, the detail in incredible. You can see individual people. But to cap it off, you can then change the camera elevation angle and fly around your chosen area. The Grand Canyon is in very high detail and is particularly impressive, especially if you have been there. Well worth a look for those who haven't already found Google Earth. :thumb: Cheers Paul

| Re: Google Earth Sorry I hadn't seen it before. It was breakfast TV this morning, so I thought I'd give it a look. The areas that are covered in high resolution don't seen to follow any particular logic and seems rather random. It is rumoured that the Great Wall of China is the only man made object visible from space, but I haven't found it yet MSN have something similar, but so far, not as impressive. Also, Amazon have something that allows you to see cities from eye-level perspective buy I can't find where it is. Any idea? Regards Paul
