ey Cay cars

Sorry all you Ak owners but can anyone explain as to why they have chosen to spell connoisseur as they have on their homepage. Is it just a play on words or are they just not bothered!
connoisseur
noun [C]
a person who has an extremely good knowledge of one of the arts or of food and drink and can judge quality, beauty or skill in that particular subject.

RE: ey Cay cars

How else would you spell connoisseur?

If you have a problem with the service you received from AK, before or after purchasing, ring them and tell them.

Don't just slag them of on the forum without a good reason.

After 4 posts and comments like this, I personnally would not enjoy your input in the future.

Sorry if my spelling is'nt correct, but we have no spell check on the forum.

Mike

forester,

Why you not understand proper spelling, connoisseur, is spelt right.

RE: ey Cay cars

You could try spelling it the way AK do!!

"Conniseure" - have no idea what one of those is (the way AK spell it).

"Connoisseur" - a person who has an extremely good knowledge of one of the arts or of food and drink and can judge quality, beauty or skill in that particular subject (including automotive art eg Cobras).

RE: ey Cay cars

I told them in an e-mail some time ago that this was wrong. I suppose they are too busy to look at it. Or simply forgot. I know that they have no idea about putting a web site together and have had it "done for them" so it was their webmaster that cannot spell.

Come to think of it, I've built some websites in my time, and I can't spell for toffee iether.

try www.left-handed.com
www.home-brew.org

I'm sure non of us remember much from English class at school and most of us couldn't give a f**k about this years "A" level fiasco. What we care about is fine detail on our cars not how they are spelt.Be pedantic about my car I will take note or take offence, question my spelling and it goes straight over my head.I say get the messge across how you can.
By the way I have an extremly good knowledge about alcahol.

You must have a lot of time on your hands

I thought the ‘or are they just not bothered’ a bit out of order.

You’d better run along now, could be missing another gripping episode of Points of View!!

PS. May I suggest you find a hobby
