    Hey that's nice.
I REALLY like the smooth bonnet (but I guess there's hood scoop to be going in there somewhere)

There's a very original scoop if you wish, but I have left my current GD without a scoop, and it has kinda grown on me

Don't need a scoop with the LSx engines because they feed from the front, i.e. no "pancake" filter on top. I like the bonnet too although I can't really the difference between that body and mine (except one of them needs a damn good sanding and polishing... and the other one is just out of the mold... boom boom). Have to see a picture of them side by side.

I would suggest you leave the bonnet plain, it looks soooooo clean

    Re: New G.D body

a bit reminiscent of that black 427 old mr Shelby used in a number of the poster shots

I thought I was gonna build a s/c type car, but now its out of the mould, and plain, I think I like it just as it is

It's official - GD has started making cobra replicas!! (can't tell the difference my asp!!)

You can see that's been taken off a mk4 - and it's spot on - the best of all worlds finally?

    Re: New G.D body

yep, the new buck was derived from an AC MkIV , then their existing lower tub was reworked to fit the new outer skin, so that the existing GD chassis, both jag and euro, will work with either body style

With the slightly wider arches, the rims are a little wider too........

and the revised lower tub has been modified to take monster 18*285 rims (like the piccie), or very original looking 16 inch rims for a more original looking wheel/rim proportion. I prefer the 18 rims on the piccie though, Gd did some work to try to get the rim and centres more porportioned, and I think it works, the 18 285 don't look like rubber bands around the edge of the rim, .
