RE: East Mids meet

Robert,

Yes, we had a good time despite the weather. Two guys braved it in their GD's (richard and Steve), most other people are still in the building stage though. The company and food was good, even the wifes and kids seems to enjoy it! :7

Watch out for Martins full report!!

Chris

Rob
Just worked out the Forum is still functional. Theres no hope for some of us!

Sunday was v. good & rag top kept most of the elements at bay. Scary in traffic though when its pi**ing down I must admit. Still I must count my blessings. Steve doesnt have side screens yet so he must have been soaked!

Cheers

RE: East Mids meet

Hi Rob sorry that you could not make it things turned out really well. We had 20 people and two car's ( which was good considering the weather ).It look's like that at the moment out of the people who turned up that most of us are still building at the moment, which not surprisingly are 2 AK's, 2 GD's a Dax &one yet to decide. Steve is trying to sort out a track Day for us which he had posted on the forum, but he also told us about something of a KOO ( no idea how you spell that ) which I won't go into now as there is nothing defonate and it's not for me to say anyway. But I'm sure if you come to the next meet you will find out. The next meet will be at the same place meeting at 11:00 - 11:30am on the 17th November hope you can make it. We are sorting out the first news letter and will send you a coppy if you wan't. Hope to see you at the next meeting. Matrin

Steve
What a small world we live in.
Hopefully going to sort it out this Thursday, & looks like Schladming possibly depending on availability. Complicating factor is that my inlaws are required to look after daughter + dogs. They are currently staying with us for half term & have already drunk the wine rack dry. WHEN ARE THEY GOING?????

Cheers

RE: East Mids meet

High Guys

Really enjoyed Sundays. Its the first time the cars been out in proper rain, it was a bit slippy under foot. }>

Great meal and conversation

Got a bit damp on the way home. Most of the way there was just a little dribble coming in round the bottom of the screen which I thought was quite good , then travelling up the motorway and the rain formed a stream across the road, there was a car 10 yards in front on the outside lane you can guess the rest. :'( :'(

Must get the windows made before next month.

Steve
