I've managed to move back from Montgomery, Alabama, which is a great relief, think of the difference in commuting times

The problem with 3rd party services is the same a frappr, we use it, integrate is and then it doesn't work properly or it falls over or doesn't work as we need it to.

I would rather spend a couple of weeks developing my own.

Haven't got a car to play with or a kit to build at the mo, so I might as well make myself useful.

I am also none too comfortable with the levels of data security that wrap some of these services. It seems to me a great way to get a possible detailed location.

At least here I can limit peoples ability to put detailed locations into the system by making it quite generic.

I have seen far too many people put inappropriate personal data on a wide variety of sites.
