My Son had a toy steering wheel which he used to spin furiously, making loads of go-faster noises, leaning into all the tight corners, perhaps running the government feels a bit like that. You make all the noises, but when you stop you haven't really gone anywhere.

Stock checking etc would be too problematic.

If people want back issues, then they are all taken to Stoneleigh where you can browse through to your hearst content. :thumb:

However thanks for the first idea.

Re: New Forum

Hi Rob,

I accept there will be some logistics to overcome but you've kinda reinforced my point.

Stoneleigh is once a year, 200 mile round trip (for me) and I've got to pay to get in.

Is the idea worth a second look ?

Might generate some more revenue for the club !

Ryan

Re: New Forum

Hi Robert
How about an SVA related forum? I know myself that most of my questions these days are of the 'a5s covering variety'.
That way it will keep the cosmetic probs away from the legal probs.
Just my fourpenneth.
I am just glad we have a Viper forum now .
Keep up the good work Robert and all the moderators .

If you know the ones you want, then contact Marion.

I don't have time to scan in 100 mags/front covers unfortunately, hence the reason they are taken to Stoneleigh as you can then browse through them.

Back issues are sold at effectively a loss for the club, hence the revenue really wouldn't make a lot of difference.

Kev

We had an SVA forum, but people used, and still do post messages in just about any forum on any topic, so I moved all the posts into the tech discussions.

This forum is for Club related feedback and suggestions, forum requests ought to go in site feedback.

I will bear it in mind though.

Point taken

Sold at a loss makes more sense that sat in someones back room gathering dust.

Never mind, thanks for taking the time to respond.

Just a suggestion.

I for many years now have been going to the Enfield pageant I think this has to be the best motoring event in the country, because Beaulieu is just to big to be accessible.
Having this year become a Dax cobra owner I thought I would look into showing the car at Enfield, I found that the cobra club would need to speak to a Perry Wilkinson on (0208 363 7649) and that it would cost nothing and we would be allowed a limited amount of cars. Would the CRC be up for it?

P.S. bit of fun http://video.google.com/videoplay?do...645&q=for+porn
