| How well do bushes age? The Ram rolling chassis I,ve bought has been fitted with fully rebuilt jag suspension, but this was done around 10 years ago. I am going to strip it down, clean and regrease, paint etc but was wondering what to expect with the bushes. Basically will they need changing, do the suffer in being stripped down and so will need changing anyway, or is it a must to renew them at such a convenient time? Also, what is the wisdom on poly bushes? Surely the Jag ones in such a light car are more than fine, or do people swear by poly ones? Cheers Ed ps Where is a good place to buy bushes??

| Re: How well do bushes age? I would definitely change them if you are stripping down the suspension anyway. My car has been on the road 10 years and as I did a detailed inspection underneath recently I am starting to think of changing mine - and will probably go to the poly type next time. I don't think I'll notice any loss of vibration suppression and I might notice the improvement in precision. In terms of teh cost of the build the cost of bushes isn't that high also.
