Dax extended footwell

On the Dax with the extended footwell, is it possible to bring the pedal box back closer to the driver?

RE: Dax extended footwell

Can't you slide the seat forward?
I would think you could space the padal box assembly away from the footwell easy enough, but you may have trouble getting the brake servo and clutch aligned. I guess you could extend the brake actuator rod.

RE: Dax extended footwell

what size is your steering wheel? I'm not terribly tall or slim for that matter, but i'm OK with my 13" wheel.
how much deeper is the extended footwell?

I mean no offense, mate, but I assure you that it would be much cheaper and a lot less trouble to go on a diet

you can get round this by extending the pedals (simple welding/fab job), or if you need to constantly change, you can make some pedal boxes adjustable (I think AK or was it GD offer this?)

As this was posted almost 6 years ago, hopefully he is now sorted!

I spaced my pedal box off the footwell as I found it a bit too long to reach comfortably with the seat in a good position for my arms. I made 2" spacers and a threaded spacer for the brake servo connection.

Worked well.

Craig.
