Re: e bay engine

Seams a lot of money... But there is a lack of info missing on engine spec!!!! Eg cam type, type of cylinder heads, cast/ali....... Ask some questions and post the full spec and dyno graph.

Re: e bay engine

Looks a bit expensive to me for an iron head chevvy, with tin valve covers and no carb, distributor, water pump, pulleys, starter etc.
319hp sounds fair enough, if he has the charts to show it, plus the set up spec for the ignition/advance and carb setup, or you'll spend a few quid arriiving at them on a dyno
Personally if Id been ebaying it Id have started it lower with a better description, and well lit pics, receipt details, and the dyno chart.
My own ebay buying rule, ask reasonable questions, if they dont get answered, or there is any question mark over the answers, then I delete the listing from 'MyEbay' so Im not tempted to bid!
At this value Id suggest a visit to view and ask serious q's!!
Probably be able to build a better engine yourself with Edelbrock or similar heads a lot cheaper, especially if you buy the bits stateside as exchange is still ok.

Re: e bay engine

Mike - That can be arranged:thumb:

Cliffords - I know of an engine builder recommended to me by Mike, I bought one and am more than happy with it, the finish and quality is superb and to top it off the guy who builds them is a really nice bloke, let me know if you want his details:thumb:
