Insurance

Have had several quotes and have narrowed it down between Blackford Bloor and Adrian Flux....the difference between the two companies just £67

Can anyone sway me to one or the other of the two due to good or bad experiences from either (details need not be included!)

Cheers...Steve

Re: Insurance

Steve.
One gives a written guaranteed value up to £30k with no immobililser fitted. The other only goes to a max £25k at Market value, (whatever that may be) and normally insist on an immobiliser. BB will give you 10% CRC discount if you ask, But that means you will have to join the club in order to show then a photocopy of your clubcard But worth the £28 I used the saving on their Breakdown Cover :thumb:

Re: Insurance

Apart from a reluctance or inability to reply to/deal by email, I have not heard anything bad about BB.

That I can't make the same comment about others says it all, I suspect.

BB have had my business for years, on an agreed value basis.

Re: Insurance

I found Adrian Flux a complete nightmare to deal with. They were a bit cheaper but it was not worth the aggro.

Re: Insurance

I have read some questionable things about Adrian Flux on another boardroom (Westfield) do some research, I'd go for BB.

Re: Insurance

FLUX ARE A NIGHTMARE WHEN IT GOES ALL PETE TONG!!!

I speak from bitter experience. Two years to settle a claim!!!

I am with BB, they are excellent. You will have to get an engineers report on your car to prove that it is worth what you say it is and take some nice piccies.

Think seriously about limited mileage to get your premium down.

Since 1992, I have tried FJ and GS too, they both seem cheap year one, but have a nasty habit of upping the premium, year two.

Cheers.
Mark.
