Sumo MK II vs MK III

Is the MK III much bigger inside than the MK II. I´m 6.2, and was told I can just fit in a MK III, but wouldn´t have enought space to drive confortably a MK II.
Apart from that (which is very important for me) and the suspension, what are the other difference between these two modells? Is the outside shape the same? Thanks.

I don't know about the outside dimensions but I think I'm right in saying additional cross members have been added to strengthen the chassis can anyone clarify

Re: Sumo MK II vs MK III

I am 1.93 metres tall, and I managed to fit OK in my old MKII Sumo.

Was it comfortable? Actually not too bad, main problem was rubbing the side of my knee raw against the downward "V" shape of the centre part of the dash.

Wilf leek, one of the cars I´m looking at is own by a guy who is 6.2 tal which is about 1.9Mts and he told he fits on a MK II but the top of his head is just above the screen

Was your seat change in order for you to fit inside the cabin or was it normal seat? Ever you ever ride on a MK III?

Can this chassi reinforcements made in MK III be felt while driving in rough surfaces? Is it a remarcable better chassi, or just a slight evolution?

Yes - you do tend to look through the windscreen top bar, but you get used to it. My seat had the runners removed and some stuffing taken out to lower it as much as I could. It helped.
