Insufficient poll choices.

Has to be Pontiac.

If you put a real engine in there instead of that chevy lawnmower your wheelchair would keep hurtling out the back everytime you pulled away:finger:

I've voted Chevrolet by nature of the fact that we've got an LS1 / T56 in Eileen's Trans Am (which is a Pontiac with a Chevrolet engine .......... got a REAL Pontiac in the cob though!)

Here's my vain attempt to steer this topic down the avenue of reasoned discussion rather than jingoistic ranting.

If I were to start again and build another car, I would take the route that many GD builders are taking and use an LSx engine with T56 transmission.
Although it's still a OHV pushrod V8, the all aluminium design and huge tuning capabilities, allied with reasonable modernity and affordability make this a first class choice.

Re: Chevy v Ford

Mike
It's surprising how many people take the cheap route when faced with a choice. Lets face it we all enjoy our kit cars as opposed to the real thing.
Another thing I notice with the pole is it seems that like most things quantity far outweighs quality.
