New Cobra seats

For all still building like me!
Got the old SR chassis and have been looking at seat options.
Firstly if anyone has a set of the original SR seat shells they want to sell let me know. I think I'm right in saying these would be best fit for chassis shape at rear.
During my searches I looked at the cobra range ie classic and cub. Very well priced compared to others.
They have now introduced the roadster SS new for 2006 see website under specialist. www.cobraseats.com
These are more like the original cobra seats and are a good bit cheaper than other makes i looked at. Sizing is the same as the Cub.
John.

Re: New Cobra seats

Hmmm - on europa (who claim to have them exclusively) the vinyl are very cheap @ £125 but the leather at £398 each aren't really competitive I think....shame

Re: New Cobra seats

D - I phoned Madgewick and they use intatrim. They have also altered the chassis at the back to square it of. They dont have the tapered bits for the tie rods i believe. So the seat shape will be different, dont know by how much though.

Smash,
I am certainly thinking about vinyl for my car so the seats would be best value.
You can buy direct from Cobra themselves as i was informed on the phone. I was trying to borrow one to try. Or buy on the provision if not suitable and not out of wrapper I could return. But no. I was told to come down from Scotland and try. Must have meant bring my chassis/body unit down as well eh?
