Strange - can't see anywhere on the handbrake lever where it could attach to. Oh well, I'm sure it'll be obvious when I get it fitted. Thanks Mike

The spring hooks on the back of the lever and the centre goes over the pivot bolt. The tail end of the spring goes to a fixed point on the chassis. It keeps the lever sprung down at all times.

I can take a picture later if required.

Here you go.

Under the centre of the spring is a large plastic spacer. The tail of the spring is on one of the mounting bolts. The spacers on the mounting bolts are all left over Gaz damper bushes.
I added various washers to the bolts to do the job of missing bits of jaguar body shell and stop the spring falling off.

Picture gets slightly bigger if you click on it.
