Polishing Exhausts

Hi All,
My pipes were in desperate need of some TLC. I have tried some polishing mops with soap compound (fixed to drill) and they work a treat. However, it is dificult to get into the v shaped gaps where pipes meet eachover without removing them from the car. I dont really want to take them off as I am told they are a real pig to get back on.

Any ideas on how to deal with this.

What do you all do to keep those pipes looking so shiny - eeven in the v gaps ?
