Dax De Dion Handling

Hi,

Next month I hope to take delivery from DB Replicas my Dax De Dion with a 383 stroker (450bhp)

I was wondering how the cars handling/road holding etc. (when driven by a decent driver) will compare to the likes of a Lotus Elise or a Caterham 7.

A well driven L7 will walk all over it. And any other Cobra replica too.

On the straights, mind you, you will pull away from them, but in the bends, oh dear..........in those damn bends...............

I *suspect* its going to be very good. Would of imagined the ride will be very compliant compared to a track focused elise or seven. So in summary you'll be eaten around the corners but destroy them in terms of straight line speed. Either way you're going to have fun (if it stops raining that is...)

Ditto to all the above.
You won't have a cat in hells chance of catching the Lotus stuff on the bends..............But on the other hand the Lotus won't be able to snap knicker elastic at 200 yds. (Unless here namer is Louise........Before she starts)).

Re: Dax De Dion Handling

you cant really compare a 450bhp 1.5 ish tone cobra to a little sports car like the lotus or the caterham, saying that the GD was .8 of a second faster than the two lotus's that came and played on the salom course at Elvlington. And i am sure the dax would have been the same if we time it...

I have driven the elise and caterham and all i can say is that they are very resonsive and have extremly prodictable. from what i hear that dax handles very well, but wont compare to a elise or caterham.
