Sumo alternator question

I'm hoping to fire up the RV8 for the first this weekend but have one question about the alternator wiring. I've got a Pilgrim supplied wiring loom with a ring connector for the alternator but I've got an alternator with 3 spade connectors without any markings on.

Can anyone tell me whats what on the connection front. I have seen a thread on this before but hours of trawling through the site and no luck finding it again.

Please help......I'm sooo close.

Darren.

Re: Sumo alternator question

Hi Darren,

itsn't it torture when you're so close!!

Paul(o) has some info on the alternator on his website (aka my build manual) in the wiring section that may help.

http://www.sumobuild.co.uk

If you don't get any joy today from the forum about how to do this, you can give me a call in the evening and I'll be in the garage next to mine to tell you what I've done, it was a couple of months ago now and I can't remember the details without having a look. PM me if you want to call.

Cheers

Graham
