| Re: Toyota van Don't know about that engine ,but all Audi engines use pins to lock them up in the correct postion.

| Re: Toyota van I hope that the valves don't clash with pistons when the belt breaks. That happens on most engines unfortunately. So you may need to change more than the belt.

| Re: Toyota van Hi gareth easy peasey no need for pins marks on gears and timing back plate but if it was running at the time may have bent valves if you need more info let me Know i have timing belt books buy timing belt kit not just belt Graham

Still as long as I get to Le-mans and back ok and no problems in between I don't care Graham, can you PM me your number please mate. It wasn't really running at the time as such I'd been cranking it over to start and the belt must have gone just as it fired so i'm hoping no valve damage
