Re: cheap ak for someone......

When you think about it, A buyer is likely to what to go and see a car like this before bidding over £10K for it. In the instance where a buyer wants it and knows what it is worth, there is a good chance they will do an off-line deal to save the seller from having to pay what is quite a high sellers fee.

So I'm not surprised that a lot of cars don’t make the end of an auction

I would have paid over 10k without seeing it, I was just waiting till the last minute to make a bid.

Re: cheap ak for someone......

Hi guys like i said the car was offered for sale to me last year, i refused it cos it was the wrong spec, if i had wanted the car and seen it on ebay i would have made an appointment to veiw the car and if it was for me done the deal off ebay, all this waiting around for the end of auction to bid is crazy, i mean you woudnt spend £10,000 to £12,000 without seeing it in the flesh unless you was mad, the reason i put my previous thread on was to tell anyone interested, that the guy needed to sell, so its you snooze you loose.

Re: cheap ak for someone......

Hi guys just to add salt in the wound, the man and his father built the car, his father was a aircraft engineer and they used all ward jag gear, ak then set it up afterwards so it was right, he paid for an expensive paint job, and everything else he used was new except the engine and box wich was all reconditiond, here is a pic he sent me just to prove it was the same car, and yea £12,000 is cheap
