Silicon Hose Vacume pipes

Hi
I have changed all hoses in my engine bay to blue silicon except for the vacume between the cab and brake master cylinder. So can anybody answer the following question.

Can you use silicon hose from the vacume from the carb to the brake master cylinder?

I think you will find it has to be special reinforced vacuum hose, (which if you shop around you can get different colours) and i think it has to be marked as "Vacuum hose" so the chaps in brown coats can see that its not just "any old hose" or "Os" as the late great Ronnie Barker would say.

Re: Silicon Hose Vacume pipes

Got mine from Merlin Motorsport. It's Samco hose and comes in various internal bore sizes. Much like the standard Samco but much thicker walls.
