Security Post Company ?

I was at a show last year and met a guy selling some really nice security posts that go flush into the ground. They are stainless steel and lift up and click into place. You then have to turn a key to return them down again.

They also make one that is stubby for the front of the garage door.

I cannot find any adverts in any of the magazines and I've lost the piece of paper that I got from them at the time.

Does anyone have details of this company. I don't want to get one of those from Machine mart because they all lock with padlocks which are about as much use as a chocolate fire guard.

RE: Security Post Company ?

Hi,

I also have one of the stainless steel posts mentioned with an integral key lock in the top fitted in my drive some years ago.

They are very good & I'd like to get another but likewise I don't have the supplier.

So, again if anyone can help ? ? ?

Roger the Dodger.

RE: Security Post Company ?

Vince,

You seem to have the info you needed. Thanks to Dave for having the information to hand and posting.

It was me (Alan Blick) you saw at the show with the 3 posts. The black painted post is removed from the range now. Customer preference was for the brushed S/S finish.

I offer both post now in that finish. The std post is 500mm tall and the "stubby" is 7in tall. Both have the same simple "lift to lock" feature and key to lower. Both also look particularly attractive as well as being sturdy.

Apologies for website not fully updated with "stubby".
Working on it now as there are some other changes too. Competition is now closed and regretably there is a price increase to apply from the start of the year.

Prices will be £175 for the 500mm (was £15 and £135 for the Stubby (was £125).Carriage is extra at £12 for the first post and £5 for any additional. (no change)

I do have some flexibility on prices for a couple of weeks while I have existing stocks.

I hope you have sufficient information but if not let me know either through the board or:
tel:01543 416505
e-mail: alan@drivebar.com

As a matter of interest I recd a call this afternoon (prompted by the message board) from another member who will be ordering a "stubby"
Look forward to hearing from you.

Regards,

Alan

Hi Alan.

Thanks for that. I'll give you a ring tomorrow. I was going to call today but forgot until much later.
