tonneau cover fitting help please !!

Viper is being delivered fresh from the paint shop soon, so I will need to drill holes along top of dash to take screw fittings for tonneau cover before I can re-fit the screen. can someone advise how many holes, what size & location please?

The normal way to do it unless you have already fitted the tonneau cover is to replace the screws holding the demister vents for ones with the appropriate fitting on top and this means you have 4 their straightaway. All you might need then is 2 more at either end of the screen.

Mine has 8 fixings along the top of the dash. 1 on each of the outer edges, 1 either side of the centre mirror, And the other 4 on the ends of the screen vents replacing the normal fixing screws. Are you going to have/have you got a hood? If so it pays to plan ahead so that you don't end up with two sets of fixings.

I used the demister vents for 4 off the poppers and then one at each end.

Im not going to have a top only tonneau, how many fixings along sides and across back?

1 on each door top and about 7 around the rear scuttle

Non on the door tops and 18 round the scuttle, but those are also used for the hood.
