Powersliding

Anyone tried powersliding their Cobra... on a track, of course?

Just watching 5th Gear and they look like they are having a lot of fun... that said, they don't have to buy their own tyres...

Re: Powersliding

I bought an off-road cart a month or two back and was trying to learn how to power slide it the other day in one of our paddocks after some rain; great fun but MUCH more difficult than it looks; once it starts to go I could find no way of catching it again and preventing a spin.

yes, once at elvington a couple years ago and once at snetterton..

First time rob gave me the car and told me to lose it a few times untill i learnt how to control the slide etc , racing karts for years does help but its very easy to correct a slip in a kart and its alot different in a cobra..

take your self to a airfield day ( not track) and have a play about with the car.. it will teach you alot about the car and its limits..
