Another clutch question!

OK apologies to those who have already read this in the RAM secton, but just in case anyone who has my engine box tranny bellhouisng combo out there here goes:

Ive got 302 Ford Tremec box, McLeod scattershield (same as weber) and looking for a pic of a slave cylinder and arm set up that is a pull configuration, pulling towards the engine block, ie Ford arm pivot location not Chevy.
needd it this way to clear the chassis and so i can throw away my mcleak hydraulic throw.
Gearbox et al is out so the clock is ticking!!!
Im thinking Wilwood pull, Ford arm, and release brg, homemade bracket for cylinder) but any help advice etc would be appreciated, especially anyone who has picsof same configuration.

Cheers

Steve

Hi Steve.
I have the Wilwood puller with a std Ford bellhousing, release arm and thrust bearing. Works a treat coupled to a 3/4" master cylinder

Yes I'm coming to the conclusion I need that cylinder, just trying to work out which arm and release bearing I need, I think its time to tak some measurements and take a trip to Stateside at Atherstone to touch some parts!!

Couple of questions (sorry!)
Where did you get the Wilwood from?
What clutch type and pedal weight are you getting?

Really appreciate the help.

Cue more lying on my back under the car with measuring stick!!

Steve

Re: Another clutch question!

Hi Steve.
The wilwood came with the car when I bought it part started. I think Merlin Motorsport sell them amongst others. The clutch is a standard 10.5" Centreforce jobbie. But it's light enough for the missus to drive it Can be handy though If you want a chat Pm me your number.

Re: Another clutch question!

Everything ordered/bought now, here's what I ended up going with:

Wilwood 7/8 pull cylinder (Rally Designs £47)
79-82 2.3 Mustang clutch arm, stateside autoparts (nice n helpful guys) £20 (used)
Lakewood adjustable clutch pivot and locknut £11 Real Steel
79-82 Mustang release with 1.43" bore to suit TR3550 nose £42 Stateside autoparts

Just got to make the pull cyclinder bracket, so hopefully the pull cylinder and adjustable ball will show up before the weekend so I can get on with it!!

Thanks to all you guys who offered advice experience etc, I'll try and grab a pic when its finished, and of course confess to what I bought wrong/ruin/have to remake/alter!!
