Rear Springs

A friend of mine has a Cobretti with a Cortina live axle at the rear. He has Pro-Tek shocks which can be fitted with coil over springs but he's not sure what rate springs he should be going for. Any ideas?

Believe the car weighs about 970 Kg and weight distribution is 50/50.
