Shocks

I would like to try and get my springs on my shocks set at a failry decent rate as I am now in the process of making final preparations for my SVA. Once it has passed (wishful thinking!) I then plan to take it to a proper rolling road and have it setup correctly.

As I took it for a short drive earlier in the week, the back end jumped up and down like nobody's business. Can someone tell me, roughly how many threads they have wound their springs. I'm running SPAX fully adjustable shocks with blue springs on the rear and red's on the front. I have wound the front up so that the front indicators meet the minimum height reuqirement, not a problem for the rear lights though.

Cheers,
Tony B

RE: Shocks

Sounds like your rear damper settings are too soft, making your rear end bounce. A couple of clicks clockwise should clear it.

RE: Shocks

Absolutely not a spring pre-load or ride height problem but too much rebound. Dial in some damping as suggested - just enough and not too much. You may have to adjust further if you travel laden with luggage.
