Re: Thanks Dave

Looking good Paul (and well done Dave...again).

Not a bad advert for DB I reckon. Dave let slip once that he'd given Paul a long list of references.............apparently he phoned every one !

Paul, as hard as we all tried to put you off, you still got Dave to build it....

Take it easy to start with, in a couple of years you might get brave enough to open up the secondaries.

Chris, stop highjacking this thread!

To answer your questions though......... no I won't change my avatar until she sends me a new pic. Isn't 72 a bit old to be buying a Cobra? Crendon will be pink.

Ps call me at work will you?

Hi Paul, is the grin wide enough to make your face ache? Chuffed yours is done 'cos that brings mine nearer.. Seriously, stunning colour which looked like it might have some blue in it when seen close up at Dave's shop, but then everyone keeps saying I'm colour blind.
As to holding the beast back, I'm thinking that finding a deserted airfield and having a 'play' before ever going bananas on the Queen's highway might be best practice for me..glad you love your car, enjoy!

Re: Thanks Dave

Hi,

Ive been out 4 times in it today - but still only 40 miles on the clock.

The colour is Mercedes Obsidian Black with Mercedes Brilliant Silver stripes.

Colour does look amazing <even though I do say so myself>

That's 10 miles a trip - are they that exhausting to drive? Probably will be for me.. people keep reminding me I'll be jumping 150 hp up from my old Chimaera.. they're betting I won't be able to handle it. Top tip: try not to surround your self with younger friends, as I have done..
Think I'll be asking for that colour, love it.

Very nice car indeed, love the colour combo especially. I'm going for the reverse (just about) BMW silver grey metallic (gun metal) with merc obsidian black stripes. Have fun with it.
