| Re: Chrome Alternator - Buying Advice Ive got a 'Proform' chrome alternator from Speciality Auto Parts USA Inc. which came with my Engine Factory supplied engine, The chrome bubbled within one month of delivery, not a happy bunny |

I've had some that have been brilliant and some that haven't worked from the word go. i would say buy one from either repower or Real Steel etc. then if it packs up you know you haven't got to send it 3000 odd miles for an exchange one.

Did not know that you could. Who does it & how much? I have a dodgy regulator. Been like it for over a year so who knows when it will pack up.
