London to Brighton run

Hi Everybody, I'm still very new to this whole Cobra ownership thing, my wife found on the web a London to Brighton kit car run on June 11th.

Has anyone participated in this event before, is it any good and is anyone doing it this year?

Don't know how much they want this year, But the entry fee last year was extortionate, hence none of us bothered

Re: London to Brighton run

got a flyer through earlier this year and yep its gone up so didnt bother with it and filed it in the appropriate place.
By the way June 11th is british grand prix day, and englands first match in the world cup, so most will find it hard to be elsewhere that day.

Guy's
I was planning the pre lemans get together possibly for the Sat 10th.
So as not to clash with the L-2-B, British F1 GP and England footie.
I know the Essex guy's have a show on the 10th.
I don't suppose they would come as it would be a long way to Bewl water. WHAT'S YOUR THOUGHTS

I have been on a few, and last year joined the classic car run which goes on a different route to Brighton. They are great fun , and I am sure you will be richer for the experience.
Note...you will be driving (fast) on narrow bumpy twisty roads not exactly what cobs like and is a great way to see how the car handles. the need for a sump guard is essential, or drive slow (sensible).
