Which Blue

Evening All

I am at the point now of painting the dax and have the hard task of picking a blue. Can you guys with blue cars tell me what colour your is painted and if possble post a picture. Also does anyone know of a good paint suppliers where I can buy the paint from.

This one is a Mercedes metallic colour called Lapis Blau; I would describe it as blue with a hint of grey. The other car is Vauxhall Sapphire Starmist which is a richer metallic and would look great on a Cobra.

I'm in the same boat as you at the moment. It's a bit sad staring at blue cars up and down the motorway everyday

My top choice at the moment is Fiat New Orleans Blue from the new Grande Punto nice colour with a good sparkle in the sunshine. Runners up are Honda Royal Blue from the S2000 (more of a navy blue) and the blue off the new BMW 3 series.

Mines an old Jaguar colour "AGEAN BLUE"

Take a look in the gallery. :thumb:

I thought it made a change from Imperial blue.

It gets plenty of nice compliments at the shows I've been to.

Same colour, different lighting - didn't want to make this too easy did you :thumb:

MGF Tahiti Blue (BLVC965)
Ford Diamond White stripes

Hated this part of the process - good luck

Just a thought? i know blue is a tradition but a good sparkling red and plenty of chrome takes some beating.
