First Drive

Well, I did it, picked up from AK this morning and drove it back to York. Unable to give it the full bananas as the engine isn't run in but it feels full of promise.

Apologies to the other bright red Cob heading southbound on the A1, I was so busy watching the temp and pressure gauges I only just saw you as we were level.

Looking forward now to getting the engine run in then will book a proper tune up somewhere.

Warren

Complete with silly grin.......

Re: First Drive

Well done Warren. Get yourself along to Boroughbridge tomorrow lunchtime, we'd love to have a butchers at your car. Weather is top notch, worth a run-out?

Re: First Drive

Congratulations Warren.
That run home will at least give you some confidence for future trips out.

Re: First Drive

Not sure if I will get to Boroughbridge this time, I'm half way through a bathroom suite and the shower panels will be preventing the Cobra from fitting in the garage.

I may drop the hint once the good lady gets a few beers down her neck this evening.......
