| Pedal length/height off floor I was trying to fit a floor mounted TVR pedal box assembly to my SR. Now with my exhaust headers etc I will not fit it in. I intend turning the pedals up side down and top mounting them. This is to make sure I have enough leg room. (Note not for me as I'm a sensible height at 5foot6) My pedal legth from pivot to end is 220mm and they look too high from the floor. But bearing in mind it is actuated with the ball of the foot I would ask what height people have normally from the floorpan to the bottom of the pedal. I would like to use these pedals as they are alloy and look the business. I have already altered the original pedal mounts of the SR as there was no way of getting original pedals before Madgewick came along. Now going full circle. If I can get over this hurdle surely everthing else WILL be easier! John. |

| Re: Pedal length/height off floor John, just measured the pedals on my Chimaera (top mounted assembly). The bottom of the brake pedal is 500mm from the floor. Hope this helps

| Re: Pedal length/height off floor Thanks Keith, Are they the same as the floor mounted or similar. Mine are flat front with horizontal ribs. John. |

| Re: Pedal length/height off floor OOps! My size 9's definitely wouldn't reach 500mm. Can I edit that to say 150mm (6")?

| Re: Pedal length/height off floor Thanks guys, Didn't click about the 500mm. 150mm better. Pictures give me more confidence as the pedal length looks very short. Might get away with mine after all. John. |

| Re: Pedal length/height off floor As an aside. My pedal face is flat from top to bottom because they are floor mounted pedals. Using them as top mount I am hoping as the pedal travels through the flat does not fail SVA under any obscure rules. Normally pedals have the pad area attached at the bottom of a curved drop bar I suppose to stop your feet touching it. John. |
