oh dear and only days to lemans

Just got in from the custom meet at chingford and I have about an inch in total movement on the clutch.
How far should the clutch fluid be up the res. Do any of you fill the res right up or roughly how many millemetres should the fluid be from the top?

Re: oh dear and only days to lemans

I think they are always filled to the top of the "tank" level witth the bottom af any "neck" on the top.

Unless you have lost a lot of fluid however, allowing air to get in your system, topping up the reservoir is unlikely to solve your problem.

Hope you get it sorted

Cheers

Dave, on my set up as my clutch wears the fluid rises! Peel the dust cover back on your slave cylinder and see if its leaking?? If not top it up and bleed it!
Ring me if you want.
