VERY expensive kit car

He's fooling nobody, at £170,000 it's just a VERY expensive kit car (albeit one you don't put together yourself)

Re: VERY expensive kit car

Presumably going to compete with the Noble. Looks nice, but not _that_ nice.
£170K would buy quite a lot of Aston Martin for example.

Re: VERY expensive kit car

Also, you have to be careful how you pronounce the name to avoid sounding like it's FooBared

If you download and watch the video clip, you can see that the panel fit around the passenger door looks rather approximate.

Re: VERY expensive kit car

Soooooooo - is a Koenigsegg just another "expensive kit car"? Or a Panos, or a Spyker, or a ..........................?

Low volume production does not necessarily mean bad things.

Re: VERY expensive kit car

Maybe, but the chassis and engine packages don't look all that different from a kit. The body has gone one step up to carbon fibre, but then, so is the FFR.
Is that a Ford Duratech V6?
Closer to a Noble than a Veyron or Kon.., not going to complete that, the afternoon's too short.

Re: VERY expensive kit car

Apparently he built it because Ferrari wouldn't sell him an Enzo. Heard about it over 7 years ago and nothing since...

Re: VERY expensive kit car

At £170K I think it ought to have an orchestra under the engine cover and not a boy band.
